Biography
Sorena Golgun was an 18-year-old first-semester mechanical engineering student and the only child of his family. He was killed on January 9, 2026, during protests in Shahsavar after being surrounded in an alley and shot from behind, with bullets striking his heart and lungs. Since his death, his mother has been recognized for turning her grief into a symbol of resistance.
سورنا گلگون، دانشجوی ۱۸ ساله ترم اول مهندسی مکانیک و تنها فرزند خانوادهاش، در تاریخ ۱۹ دیماه ۱۴۰۴ در جریان اعتراضات مردمی در شهسوار کشته شد. او در یک کوچه توسط نیروهای امنیتی محاصره شد و از پشت مورد اصابت گلوله قرار گرفت که منجر به آسیب دیدگی قلب و ریه و جان باختن وی گشت. مادر او پس از کشته شدن فرزندش، با ایستادگی خود به نمادی از مقاومت تبدیل شده است.
